The last day of an epic year.

A lot happened.

The intention for last year that I set for myself was to “Turn Pro.” If you are familiar with Steven Pressfield’s work, you know what I mean when I say that. Basically it means showing up for yourself and the people and ideas you want to serve. My idea of what that meant, and what I wanted to happen in 2020 is quite different than what ended up happening, but there is a lot that I’m grateful for.

It seems like every year at this time, I see people cursing the previous year, and something about that practice just seems like it’s asking the Universe to throw you more monkey wrenches in the next year. So I choose to focus on what I learned, how I grew, and how I might grow more next year.

For now, my intention for 2021 is to raise the bar, to show up even more, and to deepen the practices I’ve committed too already, and be more consistent. Hopefully I’ll be able to come up with a concise sentence for this year soon.

Let us set clear intentions for the year, and show up for ourselves every day. Happy New Year! Thank you 2020 for all that you revealed.
