CXXXI(131) Narratives
A great playwright who I had the honor of being an a playwriting residency with recently, Ben Holbrook, wrote a play that’s been on my mind for the past couple of nights.
I don’t want to give it away, because it’s a beautiful piece, and I can’t wait for the world to see it.
I’ll just say, take time for yourself, to really connect with your center. There are a lot of things out there that can pull you off your center. The jury is out on whether we control the cosmic narrative for ourselves, but we should at the very least pay attention to the story that we are telling ourselves and the world. The story of us. The narrative of our life.
If we don’t control the narrative, who does? Are we happy with the current narrative? If we can change anything about it, what would that be? By thinking new thoughts, we create new personal realities.
Or maybe I’m just telling stories again.
